About our campuses
We are pleased to offer our campus facilities to the community for a variety of events and activities. Bates Technical College has three Tacoma locations, consisting of more than 600,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, and offices. With state of the art facilities for a wide-range of programs from digital media to welding, we welcome the opportunity to assist you with planning your event at Bates Technical College.

Food Services – Culinary Arts catering will work with you to design a specialized menu for your guests.  Our students will arrange for concessions, beverage service, and light refreshments to support your event. Only available during academic quarters.

Application Process
The online application form needs to be submitted, via email, to rent facilities at Bates Technical College, for the purpose of non-curricular activities, including seminars, workshops, conferences, film screenings and production work, and/or other special events. All events must conform to the Bates Technical College mission and general policy. For college policy and guidelines for facilities rentals, please refer to the guidelines document below.

Instructions: Please complete all fields with the requested information. Incomplete forms cannot be processed. The application must be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to requested rental date, but to ensure space availability, more time may be necessary. The Bates Technical College facilities rental office will contact you with a written confirmation for your event and a price quote. Please note, rentals are not considered confirmed until all signatures have been obtained from college representatives and the client.
