Using a hybrid of medical and technical skills, Medical Simulations Operations Specialists create realistic scenarios to effectively and safely train health care professionals for real-life medical situations.
What will you learn?
- Controller programming
- Scenario development
- Medical terminology
- Computer networking and print reading
You will also get hands-on learning to program simulation equipment, and work in concert with Bates Technical College’s Practical Nurse program to provide real-life experiences for both programs.
How long is the program?
The six-quarter, 18-month program is 105 credits. Graduates receive an Associate in Applied Science degree. The program is offered at the Downtown Campus. Some prerequisites are required, which you can take online.
