SkillsUSA students participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the year, including leadership training, community service and competition. The 2012-2013 school year was the college’s inaugural year as a SkillsUSA participant. We were pleased to send several students to regional competitions, and two to the national skills conference, taking home a bronze medal and a second place win.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA programs include local, state and national competitions in which students demonstrate occupational and leadership skills.
