Welcome to our campus!
Since 1940, Bates Technical College has been serving veterans and their dependents. We provide you with information and assistance to help you succeed.Whether you are pursuing certification, preparing for a new career, or perfecting a skill, we are dedicated to providing the support and information to help our veterans successfully transition to college. Thank you for considering us as your educational choice, and thank you for serving our country.
What makes Bates military friendly?
From the moment a veteran or a service member steps onto a college campus, they face a unique set of challenges and barriers that set them apart from other students. You may have family responsibilities, a different perspective on life than a traditional college student because of military-related experiences, or might be out of practice with your academic skills. Some also struggle with PTSD or other injuries. So, how can Bates help make the transition into higher education easier for America’s heroes?
With about 900 veterans or military students taking courses at Bates, we remain committed to providing every opportunity to help make the transition from military life to civilian life easier. You have served our country. Learn how we can serve you.
